There is always something quite surreal about getting up ridiculously early to take some photographs. The streets are empty, the air is fresh and the world seems to be at ease for a moment.
For this shoot, I wanted to capture the soft, orange light of the sunrise. Luckily, Gabrielle agreed to get up at 4:00 am.
It was a rather cold morning of August. I limited my self to the use of only one lens, which I actually found to be quite liberating.
